Engineering Series : Mechatronic Engineering

In this series of Engineering Professions, today I would like to highlight profession of a Mechatronics Engineer. It consists of multiple areas – Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical and Programming. People who love to tinker and build things would love this profession, as you get to be experts in multi areas and get to be involved in almost all stages of a product design.

In Malaysia, Mechatronics Engineers are needed in the areas of  Aerospace, Electronic Factories, Product Design and Equipment design (R&D divisions in companies). In fact, most factories would have a need for this field of Engineering.
